This Westport Blended Malt joins our own collection of Master of Malt independent bottlings, and boasts an impressive 21-year age statement. Matured in refill butts between 1997 and 2018, Westport is known for being a teaspooned malt, with a majority of the liquid coming from a single (undisclosed) distillery, and just a dash of whisky from another (also undisclosed) distillery. A release of 134 bottles.
Tarte Tatin with buttery pastry and elegant spice is followed by waxed peels and orange zest.
Mega fruity with dried orange wheels, stewed orchard fruits, and sweet, tropical notes.
Layers of toffee tangle with woody spice, finishing up with a touch of cinnamon, and earthen vanilla.
