Marvellous single malt from Mannochmore here, distilled in September 2008 and laid to rest in a pair of hogsheads. 12 years later, in July 2021, the casks were cracked open and the whisky was independently bottled up by the wonderful Signatory.
Caramac bars, sugared fruit, a touch of pebbly minerality.
Orchard fruit salad with apples, pears, and grapes, followed by floral wafts of honey, sweet baking spice, cut through with a peppery dash of heat.
Sugar coated almonds, grassy oak, more crisp apple, and vanilla fudge.
