This was distilled at Mannochmore in Spring 1999 and aged for 12 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in Winter 2012. A single cask release from the Douglas Laing Provenance range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Floral and fragrant nose, with hints of soft spices, cedar, honey and malt.
Palate
Spiced and warming, with notes of pipe tobacco and café latter. A touch of rum spice.
Finish
Demerara sugar and apple on the tail.
