Mannochmore 11 Year Old 2010 – The Rising Sun (James Eadie)

11 year old single malt from Mannochmore, independently bottled by James Eadie. This expression was drawn from three re-charred hogsheads that were laid down in 2010 and cracked open in 2022. Following that rest, the whisky was bottled at 46% ABV and bestowed a name that refers to a pub that James Eadie once owned years ago.

    Nose

Bright fruit sweetness, with hints of roughly chopped herbs and freshly baked rye bread.

    Palate

Brown sugar, peppercorn, clementine, buttered crumpets.

    Finish

Grassy malt gives it a fresh feel on the finish.
