Sherry
One of the most expressive recent Mannochmore bottlings, this 11-year-old was drawn from a mix of PX quarter-casks and refill bourbon hogsheads for a bold sherry-meets-fruit profile. Bottled at 100 Proof (57.1% ABV), it’s un-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bursting with Speyside character and rich cask influence.
Dark sultanas and dried mango, PX-soaked raisins, and sticky ginger cake, balanced by lemon oil and fresh pear.
Sweet and punchy with dates, apricot jam, Demerara sugar, and spiced orange peel. Underneath the richness sits a zingy malty backbone, with vanilla and orchard fruit peeking through.
Bold and warming with marmalade, PX syrup, toasted almonds, and a fading waft of clove.

Happy to have found this. Lots of character. Alluring nose. Bourbon and sherry casks well paired. Sweet fruits, caramel, vanilla. Long complex finish. It’s a keeper.
Really tasty. Highly recommended.
