Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series – London Edition
Maker’s Mark’s Wood Finishing Series heads to London. It was built on Maker’s Mark Cask Strength and finished with a bespoke stave combination chosen in collaboration with chef Douglas McMaster and bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted vanilla intertwines with orange peel, salted caramel and hints of floral sweetness. A thread of charred oak and tobacco leaf adds savoury depth.
Palate
Opening with orchard fruits and bright citrus before moving into warming spice, toasted marshmallow and honeycomb.
Finish
Lingering vanilla, peppery warmth and a flicker of citrus brightness.
