Originally released for the Travel Retail market, Maker's Mark 101 Proof is... Well, exactly what it sounds like! The well-loved Maker's Mark Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, bottled up at 101 proof (or 50.5% ABV, if you're not familiar with the alcohol measurements from across the pond). Great for using in cocktails, and more than suitable for sipping neat with a drop or two of water.
Bright orange and red apple, with some berry sweetness alongside, wrapped up in toffee and honey.
Quite oily, with a crackle of pepper and cassia underneath continued caramelised fruit notes.
Vanilla pod and foam banana sweeties, with a hint of molasses.
