A wonderful 18 year old single malt, distilled at Macduff in 2002 and independently bottled by A.D. Rattray in 2021. Drawn from a single sherry cask, and bottled at cask strength, there was an outturn of 539 bottles in total.
Figs and dates, waxed lemons, musty woodsmoke, and coastal breeze.
Sultanas and raisins, dark cherry with malty spice
Toasted nuts, dark salted caramel, pipe tobacco, and gentle sea air.
