From Brave New Spirits' Rebels – The Guerilla Casks collection comes this single cask, Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Distilled at Macduff in October 2006, this one slumbered for 14 years in a first-fill Côtes du Roussillon vin rouge barrique (that's a small barrel of very nice red wine, if you don't parle Français), before being bottled at 51.4% in March 2021. With a yield of only 225 bottles, this is a fabulous chance for wine lovers and whisky lovers alike to try something a bit different.
Tart blackberries and cherries, Malted Milk biscuits.
More juicy red fruits with a hint of peppery spice and liquorice, vanilla, and oak coming through.
Lingering, pleasantly dry. Ripe cherries and oak stay on.
