This is a single cask, twenty year old Longmorn. Longmorn has remained a popular whisky ever since the now legendary fifteen year old bottling. Pleasingly this bottling shows another side to this revered Speyside whisky. Naturally this single cask Longmorn is bottled at cask-strength, without colouring and we haven't even chill-filtered it, not even a jot.

Menthol and fennel straight out of the bottle chased by zesty kiwi and grapefruit. Next hard toffee and nutmeg begin to show this big whisky's softer side of light brown sugar, freshly baked bread and tangy mincemeat.
Vanilla and powerful black pepper with assertive wood spice that becomes creamier with water or when your palate acclimatises.
Bizarrely pleasant bitter walnut and currants, remaining full-bodied to the very end.
Really assertive alcohol that carries big bold flavours. This Longmorn opens up favourably with just a few minutes sitting in the glass.
