A 26 year old Longmorn single malt, drawn from a pair of hogshead casks that were laid down in June 1990. In April 2017, Signatory came along and bottled the whisky for their Cask Strength Collection, producing 466 bottles presented at 52.7% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Milky coffee, soft barley and a touch of grapefruit.
Palate
Granary toast with strawberry jam, hints of five-spice powder and white grape. Slightly grassy at points, though still sweet.
Finish
Eucalyptus, spearmint, brown sugar and roasted apricot.
