Inchmurrin 19 Year Old 1996 (cask 33) (Signatory)
19 year old single malt Scotch whisky released under the Inchmurrin name, distilled by Loch Lomond and bottled by the wonderful folks at Signatory. This was filled into cask #33 (a refill butt cask) in November 1996 and bottled in November 2015 at 43% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Heavy on the orange notes, with candied apricot developing later on. A hint of spicy cinnamon grows.
Palate
Nutty chocolate, marmalade, fresh mint leaf, barley.
Finish
Drying spices - plenty of ginger lasting.
