Distilled in 2007, this heavily peated Inchfad single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery was finished in an oloroso cask before being bottled up at 15 years old. An independent release of 212 bottles from North Star Spirits.
Fragrant dried fruit and cooked apple, herbaceous barley, and a touch of charcoal.
Powerful layers of vegetal peat and sticky sherried fruit tangle, with candied nuts, earthy charred oak, and dried orange.
Smoky tea and oak char linger with sweet, nutty notes of maple syrup and chewy peat.
