High Commissioner is a blend of various malt and grain whiskies. It's actually not that bad, with a pretty decent balance of flavour.
It was a good cheaper whisky equivalent to famous grouse but recently you can smell the alcohol first which is like the cheap vodka smell you get.has the company changed anything which would make this happen?
My favoutite tipple of all time...itsgreat with lemonade...a.light delight.

Brought it in Aruba , and to my surprise it is actually one if the best Scotch Whiskey's I've had. Can't find it here in the states, which is a surprising, but I definitely would encourage all smooth Scotch drinkers to try.
I brought this bottle on price alone, $32 from Coles Liquorland. I haven’t seen it before. I wasn’t expecting too much from a cheap bottle of blended whiskey. Pleasantly surprised, quite tasty and drinkable. I had mine straight over ice. It’s as good as anything twice the price. Recommend
