High Commissioner is a blend of various malt and grain whiskies. It's actually not that bad, with a pretty decent balance of flavour.

good I'm Now in Hong Kong I am with it for lunch.I just bought it for lunch reasonable price
By my taste there is a bit more single malt in this blend. The most surprising thing is that there is no headache in the next morning which not depends of the volume you drink in previous evening. Ever!
Asked for the cheapest whiskey in the local offie,so I ended up with High Commissioner. Was expecting it to be a real cheap and nasty hooch .Turned out to be a quite pleasant tipple with none of the unpleasant after burn of Powers ,Famous Grouse or other so called great Irish Whiskeys. Unlike the afore mentioned brews this doesn't make you want to fight with your own shadow. Good whiskey for the price.
It's the only whisky my mum will drink , she loves the taste and has one large one with pure orange every night , lovely blend , not to stronger taste
I usually sip on White Horse but decided to try this one and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a mild easy drinking whisky and good value for money
