High Commissioner is a blend of various malt and grain whiskies. It's actually not that bad, with a pretty decent balance of flavour.
I've been drinking High Commissioner for at least 35 yrs. Ever since my dad introduced it to me. He was a malt whisky man same as I but it was his favourite blended whisky and reasonably priced.
Not bad. Not as good as MC Callons. Reasonably priced.
Smells like terpentine and the nose agrees
Thought this would be rubbish due to the price but I was so wrong.
I usually drink malt,however this wee cracker is a very good rival to grouse when malt is not available
