Indie Linkwood single malt here from the ever-excellent Cask Strength Collection. This one was aged in a single hogshead cask for 22 years, from June 1997 to June 2020, before being bottled up at cask strength by Signatory. Only 230 of these were produced, so snap one up quick before they're gone!
Herbaceous barley right up front, soon joined by tropical fruit juice and a touch of Turkish delight floral sweetness.
Brown sugar, melted butter, spicy gingerbread and white pepper. Another hint of floral fragrance drifting through in the background.
White chocolate and strawberry, alongside robust oaky warmth.
