Linkwood 13 Years Old 2008 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
We got our mitts on a lovely little single malt from Linkwood here. Distilled in April 2008, the whisky matured for 13 years until its luck was in, and it was time for bottling. That task fell to us right here at Master of Malt, releasing just 33 bottles of this single-cask expression to join our exclusive collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Layers of creamy granola and fruity flapjack are joined by dried apple and gingerbread.
Palate
That creaminess carries through to the palate with honeyed porridge and rusk biscuits while milk bottle sweeties, dried pineapple, and Apple Frosties bring waves of candied sweetness.
Finish
Soft spices open up, with bitter marmalade bringing balance to silky honey and toasted oak.
