The team at House of Glenroy went on a search for a spectacular Speyside whisky to bottle up and did extremely well by finding this 12 year old single malt from Linkwood! Fabulous stuff, with a rich, sherried profile and all the classic Speyside characteristics, it'll make a marvellous evening dram.
Sweet toffee and soaked stone fruits, hints of baked orchard fruits, and chewy oak notes.
Silky caramel sweetness, dried fruits with honey, poached apples, and buttery pastry. Toasted nuts are apparent, alongside bold baking spices.
The spices lead now, with the sweet malty notes resting beneath layers of nutmeg, cinnamon and floral oak.
