Another fabulous indie bottling from the folks at Auld Goonsy's Malt! This single malt was distilled at Linkwood in July 2008 and matured for a dozen years in an American oak hogshead. In June 2021, the cask was opened and a total of 315 bottles were drawn – bottled up at 52% ABV, with no added colour or chill-filtration, it's a spectacular Speysider!
Waxed lemons, zesty and fresh with a touch of almond and warming baking spice.
Chewy caramel nuts, fresh citrus peels, buttered crackers, and a prickle of pepper.
Vanilla honey, baked apple tart, a touch of honey, and buttered popcorn, finished up with nutmeg and spice.
