An 11 year old single malt from Linkwood, independently bottled by the folks from Claxton's. This was distilled in 2006 and set aside to age in a single bourbon hogshead before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of just 310 bottles.
Honey, marmalade and rye toast - quite breakfast-y!
Grassy and herbaceous, with a hint of caramelised pecans.
