
A fab bottling of Linkwood, distilled in 2000. The Speysider was aged in a single butt cask before being bottled in 2018 by Wemyss Malts. This particular expression has been named Gardeners' Biscuit Break, a rather cryptic but perhaps accurate allusion to the flavour profile. A release of 726 bottles.
Breakfast notes take centre stage with creamy vanilla porridge, malt biscuits and fresher coconut aromas.
Off dry, with nutty almond and walnut and fresh, juicy white stone fruits, more coconut and vanilla returning on the palate and a few subtle vegetal notes.
Short and fresh with a few of those fruits returning.
