Laphroaig Port Wood
Something a little different from Laphroaig, it's Port Wood! The smoky single malt was initially matured in bourbon barrels, before it was moved to European oak ruby Port casks for a finishing period. Some lovely plummy influence among the medicinal smoky notes to be enjoyed here.

Nose
Classic medicinal Laphroaig smoke supports fresh raspberry, red florals and plum skin.
Palate
Lots of dark chocolate, with burnt toffee and stewed plum, with iodine smoke and touches of chilli spice.
Finish
Blackcurrants and dry smoke linger.
