“A beautiful smooth whisky with an almost creamy aftertaste; my partner also loved its well-aged, smooth creaminess. If I had my way, I would tone down that creaminess just a notch, but it's still a delightful dram.”

The 1994 vintage 21 year old Master Reserve expression from the wonderful Knockando distillery which lies near the River Spey. A gorgeous single malt matured in bourbon and Sherry casks, with loads of honey and vanilla notes all the way through.

Nose

Ginger, oak spice, ice cream and pralines.

Palate

Almond and clove, with a touch of Sherried raisin. Honey-covered apples.

Finish

More honey, with a little touch of spearmint.
