Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon is an utter classic small batch whiskey from Jim Beam, first created by Booker Noe and introduced in 1992. It was named after the creek which flows near where Abraham Lincoln grew up.
Quite spicy and sweet. Melted salty butter on granary toast, toasty oak and a touch of rye with caramel sweetness.
Peppy and full. Notes of candy floss and nut oil, a touch of spice and dark chocolate, a little spice and charred oak.
Long with a touch of dryness, nut oils and vanilla spice.

Knob creek whiskey was given to me as a gift, I don't know why I haven't picked this awesome Kentucky Bourbon whiskey up myself , I liked it!! I enjoy a glass when sitting around the campfire or watching the hockey game go Leafs go or ball game go Jay's go!! Now I give Knob Creek Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey s gifts,
good stuff for a cheap whiskey. Is it the best ever, no way. but if your looking to have a few freinds over and relax. Maybe get drunk too, then i recomend. though depending on the store, this stuff can be over priced, so be carefull
It's not bad... but not great. It's definitely better than Jim beams own name whiskey and Jack Daniels to me is just like paint stripper, but when you consider that knob creak is in the same price bracket as Woodford reserve, I'm afraid knob creak then becomes a very under achieving bourbon. Woodford reserve is a far superior bourbon and is my go-to when I want a sweeter sipper compared to my regular single malts. If you have £30-35 to spend, then I recommend Woodford reserve over knob creak. It's not bad... but not great for the price.
knob creek is by far my least favorite of all whiskies. in my opinion tastes very bland and seems like they didn't take pride in the whiskey making process which explains why they sell so many of these bottles with tacky artificial flavors added to make things even worse. i think any other bottle would do the job. don't drink this trash.
I can't understand the 1/2 star review below, weird and clearly not a accurate representation of what this new NAS is. The 9yr has been a favorite and staple in my cabinet for as long as I can remember. When the change happened I did a blind taste of both and while a very different taste, this NAS is excellent. You feel the alcohol a lot less and the sweetness shines through quite a bit more. Much easier to drink and I actually preferred it that night. I was disappointed when Black Label went from 8yr to 6yr with a noticeable drop in taste but this is a winner. A different taste, but a good one nonetheless.
