A cracking Campbeltown single malt from the Kilkerran range, bottled at cask strength. This particular edition was matured in Port casks, adding a helping of red berry sweetness to the intriguingly smoky whisky – a tried and tested combo, and one that doesn't get boring.
Smoked meats, raspberry jam, waxy peels.
Richly smoky still, with stewed apples and fizzy strawberry laces offering balance to the savoury notes.
Salted butter on toasted crumpets, with a hint of seaweed.
