A single malt made up of different ages, 13 percent of which is said to be heavily peated... It turns out Stevie was wrong, Superstition is the way!
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Initial gristy cereal gives way to evocative smoke and heady malt. It’s quite sweet and creamy, and reminds us of Chantilly cream.
Sweet and porridge-like. A cereal fest on the tongue, with hints of white pepper and black forest honey with hot buttered toast. Light and oily.
Medium length with cocoa and rice paper with hints of honey and spice on the tail.

but this whisky is reasonably good
As Peated whisky goes it isn't going to blow you away, but can definitely get the creamy nose with a little smoke. Palate wise I can taste the pepper and honey and the finish definitely has some spice in it. Not the most complex whisky ever but for the price is buy it again and it is often on offer is Asda.
Lacking character it's a not bad drink but has no real depth , maybe a good mixer dose t stand out as a single malt although superior to cheap blends but falls short of black label johnny walker reminds me of monkeys shoulder a little bit ✨
Sitting in Pittsburgh ....on the Fouth of July.....cloudy, raining and throughly enjoy some Superstition....
Amazing !!!???
