Description

Delicious whisky from the island of Jura, produced by the distillery which shares its name and bottled by Hunter Laing. This one was distilled back in 2008 and aged in a sherry butt for 13 years, and then finally bottled up in 2022 for the Old Malt Cask range. 619 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Raisin fudge, lemon zest, and a touch of fragrant oak warmth.

Palate

Gingerbread, orange, a hint of anise and green apple brightness.

Finish

Brown sugar, subtle salinity lingering.
