Jim Beam bourbon undergoes distillation at lower temperatures and is distilled to no more than 62.5%, the White label is aged for four years and has quite a high percentage of rye in the mashbill.
Quite sweet with gentle notes of vanilla and cut hay, a touch of fresh corn fields and a little cereal sweetness, like the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.
Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.
Toasty oak and resin with a some sweetness.

I'll try any bourbon you put in front of me, and even had a bartender spend his own money trying to convince me there was "more to life", but I always come back to this one. No ice, mixers, or even glasses needed. Straight from the bottle, it's my go-to for every occasion. If I'm feeling a little more cocktail-ish, it's decent with diet cola and a squeeze of lime, but it's always better straight!
There are far better bourbons out there for not much more money! but stick Mila Kunis on the advert and you're going to sell bottles! In my option try somthing diffrent, well to be honest anything diffrent! And you'll be glad you spent the extra! X
Tastes like oaky peanuts.
I love good liquor, whether it be rum, tequila, or bourbon. Personally I prefer Knob Creek. It's a bit oaky and vanilla with the telltale linger of corn and rye. Sure it isn't the most unique blend but it's certainly no slouch and a worthy classic bourbon. I wish it had a smokeyness to the palate. If you want a no frills and affordable bourbon this is a great place to start. At least you won't spend 40-60 dollars to discover you dislike the concept of bourbon. Which really, this is an American classic and a piece of history you should at least try it once.
I used to drink JB in my student days when it was 86 proof. When they went to 80 proof it lost some of its character. There's nothing really wrong with it, and nothing particularly memorable either. If you're having a party and most people will be having mixed drinks, you won't go wrong. It's acceptable for drinking on the rocks.
