Jim Beam bourbon undergoes distillation at lower temperatures and is distilled to no more than 62.5%, the White label is aged for four years and has quite a high percentage of rye in the mashbill.
Quite sweet with gentle notes of vanilla and cut hay, a touch of fresh corn fields and a little cereal sweetness, like the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.
Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.
Toasty oak and resin with a some sweetness.

Jim Beam White Label is THE American bourbon standard. You can get fancier (more expensive) bourbons, you can get special batch bourbon to suit your particular palette, but the comparison will always return to Jim Beam White Label. Jim Beam White Label is what bourbon is.
I normally drink a Scotch but thought I would try bourbon it was ok but I will be sticking to scotch from now on
We did like it but our last two bottles from Tesco taste dreadful. What's happened to it.
Mucha Vainilla Fresca, Cereal, Madera Tostada y Algo Especiado, Excelente Bourbon.
Jim Beam is quite good. Quite flavorful. It's almost like a mixed drink in itself and has a coca-cola like sweetness to it. I drink on the rocks, but it would probably be a smooth mixer too. I can definitely taste the corn in this, it's almost like corn and corn husks in a way, it is bourbon after all. Nice stuff, pretty rich tasting and certainly not odd like scotch.
