This expression from the J.G. Thompson range is one of three blended malt Scotch whisky that wear their flavour profile on their sleeve. It's the Sweet expression, which has been created using whiskies matured in new toasted oak casks, heavily toasted casks with a medium char, and even casks with a heavy char plus extra toasting on the cask heads. This has allowed the team to finely tune this whisky to show off its warming sweetness wonderfully.

I was always told blends are rubbish, but this blended malt from J.G. Thomson & Co. is absolutely amazing! When you compare it to the price of some single malts these days it's incredible value for money too.
