Jack Daniel's
Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack is a smooth and sophisticated whiskey, perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks. It has a distinctively rich flavour with notes of vanilla and spice.
Gentleman Jack is a premium version of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The main difference is that it enjoys a 'double mellowing' as it's filtered through charcoal before being filled into the barrel (the Lincoln County Process) and once again before it's bottled.
Gentleman Jack is undoubtedly good enough to enjoy on its own. In his book Whisky: The Manual, Dave Broom also suggests that Gentleman Jack actually works better than the regular Jack Daniel's Old No.7 in a Jack and Coke.
In addition to its smooth flavour profile, Gentleman Jack is also known for its distinctive and elegant packaging. The brand's signature bottle is designed to look like a flask and is decorated with elegant, hand-written labelling that pays homage to the brand's heritage and tradition.
*UK (excluding Channel Islands) and retail only. Offer from 30 05 2025, while stock lasts.
Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed.
Liquorice-led palate with oak and cinnamon, a touch of banana too.
Roasty and toasty finish, plenty of spice and citrus too.

Most enjoyable whisky on the market. Worth more than the price. When I serve it to guests, everyone asks where they can buy it and how much does it cost. Also, for lite drinkers, it's the number one choice for mixing with coke.
Not a great deal of taste, very bland. So I had it as a mixer with ginger ale and this wasn't too bad. Then I tried coke (not too much) and that's when it comes in to its own. The cinnamon and spice flavours really come through bit like Christmas in a glass.
I'm not a fan of liquor. It all tastes the same to me and I think the idea of tasting notes is so pompous, as it is with wine connoisseurs. What I will say is that this gentleman jack is smooth and mellow. Something a guy like me can drink straight without feeling like I'm forcing poison down my throat. I'd recommend it to someone who wants their alcohol to be palatable & tolerable without loading it down with mixers & flavors. It's decent on its own, great when mixed. I think I've finally found my liquor of choice. As with anything else, price could always be better.
There’s no real nice taste. I smell paint cleaner and has nothing to do with a real whiskey.
This was a first time for me as I think JD is vile stuff and massively over rated. If you like single note grain vodkas or haig clubman you will hate JG. Can only say it's like drinking a bottle of cheap aftershave lotion mixed with burnt sugar. A truly disgusting drink. Very disappointing. I so wanted to change my mind about JD products.
