Jack Daniel's
Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack is a smooth and sophisticated whiskey, perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks. It has a distinctively rich flavour with notes of vanilla and spice.
Gentleman Jack is a premium version of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The main difference is that it enjoys a 'double mellowing' as it's filtered through charcoal before being filled into the barrel (the Lincoln County Process) and once again before it's bottled.
Gentleman Jack is undoubtedly good enough to enjoy on its own. In his book Whisky: The Manual, Dave Broom also suggests that Gentleman Jack actually works better than the regular Jack Daniel's Old No.7 in a Jack and Coke.
In addition to its smooth flavour profile, Gentleman Jack is also known for its distinctive and elegant packaging. The brand's signature bottle is designed to look like a flask and is decorated with elegant, hand-written labelling that pays homage to the brand's heritage and tradition.
*UK (excluding Channel Islands) and retail only. Offer from 22 09 2025, while stock lasts.
Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed.
Liquorice-led palate with oak and cinnamon, a touch of banana too.
Roasty and toasty finish, plenty of spice and citrus too.

I’d suggest you drink this with coke (or something similar) as drinking neat is not advised. It’s a very poor dram drank neat.
Horrible, doesn't even taste like whiskey. Thankfully I only bought a small bottle for the hotel room.
I love the flavor it’s smooth and well done. It doesn’t leave you with that brown liquor headache after drinking a lot of it.
The second charcoal filter doesn’t do this juice any favors. It’s incredibly bland, as if that second filtering process stripped the majority of the barrel character from the whiskey. If you want a “smooth” sipper that doesn’t feel like whiskey, this is it; just be warned it doesn’t taste like whiskey, either. It doesn’t taste like anything. There are better and far more flavorful options at this price point.
At some time, I wrote a review stating that this was the worst fluid I ever tasted. Now, since friends and family are not as repulsed as I was, I descided to give it another chance after breathing in the bottle for some time. Others in here also seem to like this so it might just be me. I done it all; chilled, room temp, with/without ice. Even super cooled in freezer like we danes like to do with schnapps. My conclusion is this: In MY world, this is terrible unless used as a mixer. I tried to figure out the secrets of the good reviews, but I have failed. Sorry Jack. You’re on Coke.
