A majestic 25-year-old single grain scotch from Invergordon, distilled in 1997 and matured in a single bourbon cask until 2022. That cask was opened by indie bottler Brave New Spirits, releasing a total of 293 cask-strength bottles for The Yellow Edition series.
Creamy porridge with brown sugar and dried apple is followed by toasted marzipan and old leather.
Syrupy flapjack keeps things sweet, while oaken spices gather beneath. Buttery vanilla tangles with warming notes of ginger and cinnamon.
Creamy grist and vanilla cupcakes, charred, peppery oak, dried berries, ginger, and butterscotch.
