Indie Inchgower from The Red Cask Company! The bottler gives all its releases the red carpet treatment with a stay in sherry casks and this 14-year-old single malt enjoyed some of its time resting in a first-fill ex-oloroso hogshead. Distilled in 2008, a total of 274 bottles were released in 2022.
Rich, sweet barley, toasted currant buns with tangy marmalade, plus a dusting of grated dark chocolate.
Forest fruits and caramelised biscuits mingle, joined by honeyed dates and prunes. Toasted brown sugar and drying oak rest beneath.
Mocha, berry jam, hearty malt, and bittersweet oak.
