Indie Inchgower here! Distilled in 2008, the Speyside single malt was initially rested in a hogshead cask, before being moved over to a refill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask for a finishing period. Eventually, Hannah Whisky Merchants bottled it up at 13 years old for its ever-wonderful Lady of the Glen series, with a release of 268 cask strength bottles.
A waft of coastal influence is balanced by vanilla pod, singed heather, golden syrup, and a dash of sweet balsamic.
Blood orange and fresh orchard fruit, strawberry jam on toast, and pineapple upside down cake.
Peppery oak, cinnamon waffles, and a whiff of wood smoke.
