Wine Cask
Distilled at Inchgower in February 2010, this single-malt spent over 12 years maturing, initially in American oak before finishing in a Madeira wine cask. The cask was opened in 2022 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., releasing a total of 282 bottles for the Cooper's Choice collection.
Honeyed sultanas, cinnamon biscuits, stone fruit pastries, and runny caramel.
Ginger, toffee, a touch of leather, and biscuity malt, with honeyed nuts joining in time.
Marmalade and treacle join for the finish, with a smidge of peppery spice.
