Single Malt
Scotland

Another brilliant release in Highland Park's Orcadian Vintage Series! This 1970 vintage single malt was left to slumber in a combination of refill butts and hogsheads for four decades, specially selected by whisky maker Max MacFarlane himself. The casks were emptied in 2010 and bottled at 48% ABV, boasting notes of caramelised pineapple, peat smoke and lemon peels.
Toasted oak, dried strawberries, notes of gingerbread, sandalwood and cinnamon bark.
Crushed black pepper, crème brûlée and toasted vanilla pod. Distinctive hints of applewood smoked cheddar, vanilla sponge and paprika.
Rich, long, lingering spiciness.
