Highland Park 17 Year Old - The Dark

The first release in a series from Highland Park launched in 2017, The Dark is a 17 year old single malt which has been drawn from European oak Sherry-seasoned casks. A fantastic example of how blending Sherried richness with elegant smoky elements can work spectacularly.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

    Something Magic

Not sure what I can say about this incredible Whisky, there is something almost magic about the depth of flavours. Not to be missed

    Phenomenal

I get some honey on the nose as well as cinnamon and pine. Flavor is extremely full - sweet with a hint of smokiness. Liked this much better than the 18 Viking Pride.
