
The fourth release of Highland Park Cask Strength spent 14 years maturing in a variety of casks. The single malt was predominantly matured in first fill sherry seasoned European and American oak, alongside small quantities from refill, bourbon, and Port casks, before being bottled up at a cask strength of 64.3%.
Waves of zesty citrus, toasted oak, and vanilla are joined by notes of charred heather and fragrant peat smoke.
Citrus blossom, juicy grapefruit, and rose tea keep things zesty and floral, while aromatic woody spices gather alongside vibrant peat.
A touch of anise joins warming notes of clove, and sweeter baking spices, while heather and soft smoke linger.
