Illuminate your favourite whisky serves with Highland Lights! This Highland single malt Scotch whisky spent a dozen years maturing, including a partial finish in fresh oloroso sherry casks, so you can expect a classic, and generous array of stone fruits, oily malt, toffee, and festive spice here.
Stewed plums and pears, a touch of pine. Notes of maple and blueberry bring fluffy pancakes to mind.
Toffee pennies and an abundance of stone fruits, with dried apricot and peach backed up by warm blueberry muffins. Walnut oil follows, with bold barley in tow.
Malted biscuits, stroopwafels, dried apples, and cinnamon sugar.
Wasn't too keen on this! Initially, there was little to mild taste. The after taste was nice but it was as if, it was "missing something"? Probably won't buy it again but someone will love it.
No one will like this.dont buy it and push the price up,leave it for me.mmm toffee....
This had no nose of any note. It was rough on the lips and had awful after taste. Quite probably the worst whiskey I’ve had the misfortune of tasting for many a year. It was over bearing. The label had no indication of the distiller. I have my suspicions HP. I’ve had grains better than this. I bought two bottles; one was returned which wasn’t as seamless process as you might hope. The other I still have but no refund offered because it was opened! I might see how it goes in my tea.
Lovely wee dram, I see it's sold out but if and when it resurfaces, grab one or two. Really easy to drink and soft on the senses. No afterburn and a great gift. The bottle is nice too. I can get behind most of the description too but the main takeaway is if you like the toffee Speyside types, then you're gonna love this one even though it's a wee bit further up.
A lovely drink! This was a present for my husband. It is tasty and satisfying to drink. We both really enjoy it.
