Originally released for the Travel Retail Market, Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a smashing Japanese blended whisky that displays a harmonious flavour profile (as you might expect from the name) with a good kick of fruity Sherry notes.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Citrus blossom, mango and juicy raisins. A slight touch of vanilla-rich oak.
Chocolate orange, creamy wood notes, dried apricot and sultanas, cinnamon.
Plum and ginger. Brown sugar and milk chocolate.
$37.05 - $111.26
I'm on my fourth bottle of this now, it is simply wonderful. I was first given one as a gift many, many years ago. It wasn't cheap then at £110. I've had three bottles since, all bought for around £140, for which I still think it's okay value. But £195? Come on! That's ridiculous. On the opposite hand, we tried it against the Hibiki 17 and Blender's Choice, both of which are even more, considerably more, so if you have to have one, this is still the best value, which is really depressing. If I were you, I'd go for Nikka Tailored. Far cheaper and on a par quality wise.
loves this when I first opened, unfortunately been disappointed ever since I can't tell if my palate has changed or if I was simply nieve initially but for this price I would expect much more Not bad, not great, simply ok
What can I say?... But has anyone try both the Travel Retailer & the normal One, they're different in taste, It's feel like the normal One are better than the Travel Retailer One, didn't know why, I & among friends all agree to it
I purchased a bottle from Diamonds Princess in Singapore last day of the cruise. Tastes exactly like TX whiskey @55 a bottle. Too sweet. I like Canadian Club small batch 12 year.
A beautiful blend of Japanese Whiskeys that grows on you the more of it you drink
