Heaven Hill. If bourbon is your thing, that's a name you should be very familiar with. If you're unfamiliar, we recommend you become acquainted with the legendary Kentucky-based producer and its wares - which includes this good value-for-money expression. tasty sipped neat, and will be great for any whiskey-based cocktails you could throw at it. Or throw it at. Maybe don't do any throwing. Throwing generally isn't great for cocktail making unless you're one of those bartenders that does somersaults.
Rye-rich, quite spicy and sweet.
Spices, oak, cedar, a little rum-like character develops.
Fruity, dark brown sugar.

Good whiskey for a poor old lonley man like me. Got no friends, money, nothin but my whiskey and guitar. Bottom's up!!!
Its cheap, and it tastes cheap! I'd much rather spend 5 dollars more and get Evan Williams or Evan 1783. Both of those are under $15 and the quality level is much higher in my opinion
Cheap and tastes like bourbon, whatever would you want more. Solid bourbon, couldn't ask for anything better.
let's make this clear...i can get this for around $10 US...and then it goes on sale, too! wonderful stuff. yes, it's young, but one of the best off-color 'white' whiskies out there, ha! add Ezra and Evan to the club, for sure. what i like about this expression is its nutty (peanut/roasted pecan) note....really amazing. at this price, i can make the rare cocktail and not feel guilty. it's really an exceptional bourbon. truly old school. one dayi hope to track down Old Charter..
cheapest bourbon I can get. not bad at all. very drinkable.
