When we first heard about the initial Haig Club being released with David Beckham we had a discussion at MoM Towers about what the price point would be. When it was eventually announced, however, it was quite a bit higher than the whiskies we'd previously assumed they'd be competing with. That's where Haig Club Clubman comes in, which will be the more "mainstream" variant.
The Clubman, a single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Cameronbridge and matured in ex-bourbon casks, is designed to be enjoyed with cola.
Inoffensive vanilla, nougat and caramel notes. With Beckham behind it, we can see plenty of vodka coke drinkers making the switch to Clubman and not looking back.

almost tastes like candy floss. very sickly after a couple of glasses and can feel teeth rotting away... stay away.
Vanilla, vanilla and more vanilla with a sweet floral/toffee scent. The only bottle of whisky that I have ever given away after one taste.
With coke this whiskey is transformed. Some one tell me a better whiskey for mixing, no peaty tastes need apply :)
I'm a whisky drinker and I enjoyed it. Nice sweet aromas and sweet finish. Yes there's some burn but a lot of Whiskies have burn!! You think this burns try Dalwhinnie Winters Gold!! Anyway I enjoyed it and feel a lot of its bad reviews are due to the Beckham link....
Seriously bad. I am going to check if it will clean my paint brushes. If not I really don't see much point in this drink. Tastes and looks like a chemical. Supermarket own £9 a bottle scotch is much better than this. Even with coke it's disgusting.
