This 1990 vintage single malt from Macallan was bottled up by Gordon & MacPhail in 2011 to join its Speymalt collection. A great find for a collection, or perhaps to crack open on a very special occasion?

Rosewater, honey and liquorish form a sweet nose.
A well rounded palate with notes of dark chocolate shavings, black pepper - with a silky mouth-feel.
The finish is reminiscent of red apples with a little milk chocolate on the tail.
The aroma is sweet followed by a deliciously deep flavour profile.
