Nomad Outland Whisky is a collaborative blended whisky from renowned master distiller Richard Paterson and expert Sherry producers Gonzalez Byass. It is made with a selection of over 30 malt and grain whiskies aged between five and eight years old in Scotland. Following that, the whisky is shipped off to Jerez, where it is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for a year before it is bottled. Richard Paterson and Gonzalez Byass' master distiller, Antonio Flores, experimented with different Sherry casks, including oloroso and fino, but ultimately decided on the Pedro Ximénez casks for this enticing expression.
Raisins, walnuts and orange peel – sherry heaven.
Peppery, fruity and fresh initially, followed by walnuts and molasses.
Sweet and sticky.

THE BEST WHISKY I HAVE EVER TASTED
Loads of sherry-insane amount that fills your mouth. Technically not a scotch but beats many scotch whiskies hands down. Very nice. Wish I had bought more bottles as it has sadly ran out at my local store.
I work for the Pieroth wine company and we distribute the Pedro Ximinez sherry, heaven in a bottle. My son knew this and got me a bottle of Nomad as a present. What a wonderful creation, try it and be amazed at the ripe full flavors infused into the whiskys by the maturation process. Genius.
Amazing flavour & richness - with the Pedro Ximenex barrels you get a real honeyed flavour - almost like a bourbon style
Almost a sticky toffee pudding quality to this unusual maturation that is slightly reminiscent of Macallans of a few years ago. It may not be for you if you’re not keen on sherry and Pedro Ximinez in particular but this is a really great fireside companion. Received as a present yesterday it is lovely and warming either straight or with a small amount of water. Add nothing else and drink at the right time of day after dining well.
