    Single Malt

Glenturret 30 Year Old 1987 (cask 371) - Artist #8 (La Maison du Whisky)

A very intriguing Glenturret, distilled way back in 1987. It was matured in a single hogshead for 30 long years, and was bottled by La Maison du Whisky in 2018 at 55.3% ABV. The Artist #8 series is full of stunning labels featuring work by French photographer Jérémie Lenoir, and this is no exception, with what looks like an aerial view of a pink and sandy landscape. Only 214 bottles were released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Stewed, sweet plums with vanilla custard and a malty undertone.

    Palate

Fresh white grapes burst open with malted barley and more creamy notes, developing into more savoury notes of roasted vegetables.

    Finish

A sweet finish of tropical fruit, with a tart passion fruit tang and fresh berries.
