Description
28 year old Glenturret single malt, independently bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. This was distilled in April 1989 and drawn from a pair of hogsheads in April 2018 (just 12 days before its 29th birthday!). A release of 365 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh blueberries, soft grassy malt notes, a whiff of oregano, melted butter and toasted rye.
Palate
More vanilla-forward on the palate, but continued berry sweetness gives it a refreshing personality.
Finish
Honeycomb, waxy peels, caramel.
