25 year old Glenrothes single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single Sherry butt. This was distilled back in June 1990 and bottled in June 2015 with an outturn of 285 bottles. This comes to us via Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular range, which is reserved for rare, well-aged whiskies.
I had a 3cl of this- wonderful. Not for the beginners at all. very spicy, very flavorful. Vanilla, Sherry, dried apricot and a little hint of peat and leather. (I dont like leather so I deducted .5 on my rating.)
