A 1996 vintage Glentauchers single malt Scotch whisky here, bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd. This one was filled into a single hogshead cask and left to age until 2021, when it was deemed ready for the world to enjoy. Just a tiny number of bottles were produced – only 73 of them!
Chocolate peanut, waxy apple, polished oak furniture, and brown bread.
Butterscotch, heather, cantaloupe, a touch of tangy red berry.
Drying spices juxtaposed with more juicy summer fruits.
